ROCKFIRE'S LANDMINE CHECKERS™
LANDMINE CHECKERS™, takes checkers to a whole new level - like playing Chess. The board has over twice the amount of playing squares and uses additional playing pieces that revolutionize the game. It also contains two 'Landmines" that cannot be moved across at any time and will destroy any piece that is forced to land on them. Kings are always Kings, from the very beginning of the game and can move one, two, or three spaces at a time - in any direction. Standard pieces can never become anything but what they already are, and are simply placed back to the lowest position on their side of the board to start over when/if they make it to the other side. There is a lot of new playing strategies in this game that are sure to keep its players on the edge of their seats.

Learning the Board:
Landmine Checkers™ has over twice the amount of squares -spaces than a traditional checkerboard. It also incorporates two new 'Landmines' into the playing field. It uses 12 standard men and 6-Kings on each side of the playing field. The men can never move across, or land on either of the two Landmines. This game is like Checkers & Chest - combined!
FUN FACT:
The first Landmine Checkerboard™ that was made did not come with its checker pieces. So, wooden pieces were made and painted to a similar color to fill the gap until the real plastic pieces were finally available.
